| Last winter (2006/2007) As a family we all started to go skiing, Well most of us me, being an old fool decided to try snowboarding and we all love it so much that this winter 2007/2008 we broke the piggy bank open and went to Austria foe a weeks fun in the snow and what a week it was. We flew easy jet from Edinburgh to Munich and then had a 2 hour transfer by taxi to a small traditional ski resort just over the border into Austria. The resort was called Lermoos and the mountain we slid and fell down was called Grubigstein. The hotel Alpenrose where we stayed was fantastic and had excellent facilities for the young and old. I managed to stroke off every pisted run on the mountain during the week and can highly recommend the Lermoos Ski School. | |||||
